Afghan President Ashraf Ghani announced that a suicide attack in Kabul on may 31, killing more than 150 people and over 400 people were wounded, according to Reuters. This is the most bloody terrorist attack in the Afghan capital since the overthrow of the Taliban in 2001.
Earlier it was reported that the victims were 90 people.
Recall, may 31, in a particularly protected area of Kabul, where is located the presidential Palace, buildings of foreign embassies and offices of media agencies, a powerful explosion. Near the building of the German Embassy bomb exploded a tanker for transportation of water.
Among the wounded are foreign nationals.
The bomb was so powerful that the blast were totally destroyed or severely damaged about 50 cars in a radius of several hundred meters.
