The Commission of the Ministry of defence of Poland came to the conclusion that the cause of the crash, which killed the President of the Republic Lech Kaczynski, there was an explosion on Board the aircraft.
This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of defense.
The Commission came to the conclusion that the left wing of the Tu-154 was destroyed by an explosion from within, and not a tree appeared on the path of the aircraft.
Thus, the Commission of the Ministry of defense refuted the findings of the Commission of the state aviation investigation of air accidents of the Ministry of interior of Poland, which recognized the cause of the accident crew error.
