31-year-old resident of Ashdod who already have a conviction for robbery, was apprehended by police several hours later after a RAID on a Post office Bank.
June 26, around noon, the police received a report that an unknown offender robbed a Post office of the Bank in the quarter of «Alef» in Ashdod. Witnesses said that the man went to the Bank and handed a note in which was written: «This is a robbery. No need to panic. Give me 100 thousand shekels or I’ll start to shoot people here». The press service of the police reported that a Bank employee gave the robber 7.030 shekels from the cash register, after which the offender fled.
The image from the surveillance camera installed in the Bank, the police identified the perpetrator has already been convicted and released from prison two years ago. To the house of the suspect was sent to the police.
However, it turned out that the robber directly from the Bank went shopping. He came home with new clothes. The arresting police officers found in his wallet 4.000 shekels.
