On Tuesday, 4 July at 16:00 at the international airport of Israel named Ben-Gurion landed the plane with the President of India Narendra modi on Board.
At the airport he was met by Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Cabinet members and Knesset members. On the tarmac the anthems of the two countries, after which Netanyahu and Narendra modi walked along the guard of honor.

The visit of Narendra modi dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. During the visit, modi is also expected to sign a major defence deals (Israel is one of the main suppliers of arms to India). However, another important purpose of the visit is the signing of agreements in the fields of water and agriculture.
Along with modi arrived in Israel, a large delegation of Indian businessmen interested in agricultural technology. In various Indian States with the support of the local authorities are actively developing Israeli agricultural centers. Great importance is given to Israeli technology and promoted by the modi government multi-billion dollar project to clean up the Ganges. It is expected that during the visit, among other things, the agreement will be signed to strengthen cooperation in the space sector, facilitate the use of the Indian spaceport for launching Israeli satellites. In total will be signed 7 agreements, including in the areas of water and agriculture, cooperation in the scientific sphere, in the field of cybersecurity, etc.
