The Prime Minister of Iraq, arrived in Mosul and congratulated military victory over ISIS

The Prime Minister of Iraq Haider al-Abadi has arrived in Mosul to announce the liberation of the city from insurgents «Islamic state» and to congratulate the Iraqi military victory.

«Commander of the armed forces, Haider al-Abadi» has arrived in the liberated Mosul and congratulated the heroic Iraqi fighters and people of great victory», — says the official statement of the press service of the head of the government of Iraq, quoted by the BBC.

Earlier, Iraqi state television reported that the military special anti-terrorist unit of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Iraq raised the national flag over the effluent to the Tigris river with a quarter of the Old city of Mosul. The report reveals that troops and allied militias had to go a few meters to end up with the last pockets of resistance of the terrorist group «Islamic state».
