The Prosecutor’s office of Switzerland confirmed that two senior FIFA officials were detained at the request of the U.S. justice Department, Reuters reports. Those arrested can be deported to the United States.
The Prosecutor said that those arrested are accused of taking bribes.
This morning at the hotel Baur au Lac, which made the arrests in late may, the police arrested a number of football officials, arrived at the FIFA Executive Committee.
