The chief Rabbi of beer Sheva in an interview with radio station «Galey TSAHAL» reported that the metro police, an agreement was reached, under which a caller appearance the participants of the gay parade will be issued fines.
According to Rabbi Yehuda Deri, the police promised him that the first gay pride parade, which will take place on June 22 in Beersheba, «will take place quietly — without music and DJs».
According to Deri, «this holiday» is only for members of the LGBT community. Skip the parade will be only the «holders of special bracelets.»
Police Beersheba did not comment on the statements by the chief Rabbi of the city.
«Pride parade» in beer-Sheva will start at 18:00. The city will be closed the following streets: Reger from the WinGate to the intersection with Henrietta Sold, SHAZAR street Henrietta Sold, Shimoni to Derech, Meshcherin, WinGate square of the municipality, Reger to the streets Weitzman, Golomb to Derech hashalom, SHAZAR to Derech hashalom.
Traffic on the street Reger will open at 20:00, the rest of the street will be opened gradually until 23:00.
