The evening of 2 August the Prime Minister and foreign Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his blog on Facebook wrote that the West African Republic of Guinea-Bissau has pledged not to vote against Israel in UN.
«The Republic of Cape Verde said that from now on will not vote against Israel in UN. The decision was made after my meeting with the President of Cape Verde Jorge Carlos Fonseca, which was held two months ago at the summit of ECOWAS (Economic community of West African countries). I welcome this decision, which is the result of intense development in Israel’s relations with African countries,» wrote the head of government.
