Tuesday, February 8, in the state of new Hampshire will hold the first primaries for the US presidency. On the eve of the primaries on Saturday held a debate between candidates from the Republican party, during which the Senator from Florida Marco Rubio, who took third place after the primary elections in Iowa, has undergone a wave of attacks by his rivals.
As previously reported, the winner of the primary election among Republicans in Iowa was Senator from Texas Ted Cruz, who scored more votes than the «highest rated» billionaire Donald trump. Ted Cruz scored with 27.7%, Donald trump is 24.3%, Marco Rubio for 23.1%.
On Rubio that has the support of establishment Republican party and financiers on wall Street, they expect «moderate» Republicans who are afraid of winning intra-party elections are unpredictable and controversial Donald trump or extremely conservative Ted Cruz, backed by «tea party» (Tea Party movement).
According to preliminary polls, in new Hampshire Rubio can take second place, beating the winner of the election in Iowa with Ted Cruz. During Saturday’s debate, several candidates also supported by moderate Republicans have focused their efforts to discredit Rubio in hopes to pick up his voice.
We are talking about new Jersey Governor Chris Christie, former Governor of Florida the Jeb Bush and Ohio Governor John Kasica. All three, along with Rubio are fighting for the votes of moderate Republican voters, are more experienced politicians.
Donald trump showed during the debates, not the best results, however, the weak position of Rubio could play into his hands, as the conservative Cruz in new Hampshire are much less likely than his more liberal rivals.
