Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates, ruler of Dubai Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid al-Maktoum wrote a poem which called on Qatar to restore relations with members of the Council of cooperation of Persian Gulf States.
In the poem notes that both States are part of one people, one noble tribe. Monarch also argues that Dubai was and still is the protector and friend of his neighbor.
«It’s time to unite our hearts, protect each other from hate and anger. We are ready to instruct the brethren, as taught by the prophet Muhammad. In the hadith it is written that wolves only eat sheep stray from the herd,» writes Sheikh.
Note that the ruler of Dubai found time for one more noble cause. He identified the residents of the small Cornish village of 90,000 pounds needed to save the local Church and turning it into a community center.
According to the British, they turned to the Sheikh when they attempted to raise money independently and to find other sponsors failed. A request letter was sent in the fall of 2016, and a call from Dubai was a complete surprise.
