As it became known on February 19, Russian authorities arrested an Estonian businessman on suspicion of espionage. He was kept in the remand prison «Lefortovo», reports NEWSru.com.
Businessman Raivo Susi specializing in the repair and sales of aircraft, was detained at Sheremetyevo airport on 11 February. The next day the court extended his arrest for two months. Representing the Sushi lawyer Anatoly Tolpegin said his client is accused of acts committed in 2004-2007 year.
The defense appealed against the arrest, but the court has not yet appointed the date of consideration of the protest. Estonian diplomats in Moscow notified about the detention Centre.
According to some reports, in the 1990s Sushi was detained on suspicion of smuggling, and its activity was checked up by the tax service and other law enforcement agencies, but the investigation was eventually closed without charges.
