The tragedy occurred in Kalamazoo on Saturday night, when a man about 50 years old, driving a dark SUV with sporty chrome wheels, in several points of the city opened fire on random passers-by.
At first it was reported about six killed and three wounded, but on Sunday, one of the injured, 14-year-old girl died in the hospital.
The suspect was detained by police Sunday morning in the city centre. In his car were found weapons. It is reported that the suspect had resisted arrest.
The first victim of the offender was a woman in a residential home, received several gunshot wounds and was taken to hospital in serious condition. After that, police responded to a call at the auto shop where two people were killed and one wounded. The third stop of the offender was the Parking lot of a restaurant Cracker Barrel. There were killed three more people.
According to police, the victims are not related among themselves nor with the offender. The suspect motives remain unknown.
