A group of squatters, anarchists in the composition of the 20 people voluntarily moved into a luxurious mansion in London, owned by Russian billionaire Andrey Goncharenko.
According to the newspaper the Daily Mail, the seizure of the building, located in exclusive Belgravia in the heart of the British capital, was made at the beginning of this week.
Goncharenko purchased the mansion in 1825 built in 2014 for 15 million pounds. Previously, there was located the Instituto Cervantes. According to British media reports, the oligarch for three years I bought a mansion in London with a total value of 250 million pounds, including «the most expensive house in the UK» – the mansion Hanover Lodge in Regents Park for 120 million pounds, writes NEWSru.com.
The house in Belgravia was empty, and this benefited the squatters who plan to organize a shelter for the homeless. Over the front door of the mansion now bears the poster with the inscription «Antiplagiarist United States in exile.» In addition, on the balcony, hoisted the black flag with the words «Antifascist action» (in German).
