Deputies supported the amendment on the basis of the decision of the constitutional court of Russia resolved that in future the constitutional court will decide whether to consider or not the sentences of the international courts against Russia. The right of appeal to the constitutional court with such a request provided to the President and the government.
For the proposal voted 436 Duma deputies, against — only three.
Previously, the constitutional court ruled that the decisions of the European court of human rights will be fulfilled only if they do not contradict the Russian Constitution.
