Monday, July 24, the magistrate’s court in Rishon LeZion decided to place under house arrest of one of suspects in the «case of submarines» — the former Deputy head of the Council for national security Auriela Bar Yosef.
According to the court, he will be under house arrest for two weeks. In addition, within 180 days he is forbidden to leave the country, and within 90 days he can not go to government institutions.
Bar Yosef was arrested July 10, during joint operation of employees of the Israel police, the tax office and the office for combating money laundering. He is suspected of bribery and making a profit under false pretenses.
Meanwhile, the businessman Miki Ganor, who received the status of Gassville, began to give the first testimony. Another suspect in the case, Benjamin Netanyahu’s lawyer David Shimron, with the permission of the police he went abroad. However, upon his return, he will again be summoned for questioning.
