In Anbar province in Western Iraq was committed a suicide bombing attack, which killed at least six people, told the news Agency France Presse, citing Iraqi sources.
A suicide bomber sent a car bomb into the barracks of the Iraqi border guards at a checkpoint on the Iraqi-Saudi border. As reported by the military, the suicide bomber was dressed in military uniform with insignia of captain, and was driving an army car.
The victim of the attack was, including Lieutenant Colonel Hussein al-Jolie, the unit commander of the border guards. Another 14 people were injured.
So far no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
