On the morning of 24 November, unknown militants carried out the attack on the square in front of the provincial administration in the city of Adana in southern Turkey. They detonated an explosive device in the car bomb.
Two people were killed and about 30 were injured. TV broadcast footage from the scene of the attack. They suggest that buildings and vehicles suffered extensive damage.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. It is assumed that this may be «Islamic state» and the Kurdistan workers ‘ party.
«Damn terrorists continue to kill Turkish citizens. We will wage an uncompromising fight against terror, not yet put an end to it,» — said the Minister for integration with the European Union by Omer Celik.
