The militants of the terrorist group Boko Haram attacked a village near the city of Maiduguri in northeast Nigeria. The attack resulted in 21 people dead and 91 people were injured, reports the BBC.
Several hours later, after the attack the suicide bomber exploded near a mosque in Maiduguri, resulting in 1 person killed and unknown number of people were injured.
It is reported that the attack on the village happened on Sunday night. The militants stormed the village in three cars, shooting people from cars installed on the RPG.
Recall that Boko Haram was founded in 2002 to counter Western norms of education. In 2009 the organization became a terrorist. Islamist insurgency in Nigeria has continued for six years, and his victims were more than 20 thousand people. About two million Nigerians have been forced to flee their homes.
