After audits conducted on the TV channel «Rain» the Prosecutor’s office and the Ministry of emergency situations, the IRS requested a report on taxes and fees channel in the past three years, starting from 2012.
«Today I received a request from the tax. Certainly frustrating when all the checks come at the same time, but tax audit is useful. Helps to correct errors that may occur in the work of accounting», wrote on his page on the social network Facebook CEO «Rain» Natalia Sindeeva, who published this information.
The document stated that the Federal tax service intends to hold at the channel exit check, date of event not specified.
As previously reported, on Monday, December 7, was carried out the Prosecutor’s check and the inspection of the Ministry of emergency situations. Sindeeva has posted a copy of the notice on carrying out of public Prosecutor’s check.
Prosecutors came to the editorial office of «Rain» in connection with public Prosecutor’s check of execution of legislation on combating extremism and terrorism, labour laws and legislation on licensing, reports TASS.
Many commentators link the Prosecutor’s verification on «the Rain» with a discussion of the scandal after the publication of data of investigations of the Fund of struggle against corruption, founded by Alexei Navalny, in which he said that Artem Chaika, the son of Prosecutor General Yury Chaika and resident of Switzerland, is in cahoots with criminal elements, with extremely profitable business and keeps their money in Swiss banks.
We will remind that TV channel «Rain» has experienced a massive review by the Supervisory authorities, trying to find sources of funding for broadcasting with the opposition rallies on Bolotnaya square and Sakharov Avenue in 2012.
In 2014, «Rain» came under a barrage of criticism due to incorrect wording of the survey, which was conducted to the anniversary of the siege of Leningrad. Amid the scandal emerged cable and satellite TV channels refused to cooperate with «the Rain», and the TV station lost about 80% of the audience.
