The U.S. state Department on Wednesday, December 16, issued a new warning to American citizens about the dangers of visiting Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and the Gaza strip.
According to the document, the situation in the sphere of security in these locations continues to be complex, and U.S. citizens should be aware of the risks associated with their visit.
The report notes that among those killed and injured in the current wave of violence in the region were American citizens.
The state Department did not impose any restrictions on visiting other cities in Israel, noting that the situation in the field of security in tel Aviv or Haifa is comparable with the situation in other major cities around the world.
The state Department has imposed a strict ban on visiting U.S. government officials in the Gaza strip, regardless of is on official trip or for personal reasons.
Note that a similar caution was issued over us foreign policy in February 2015.
