The Minister of foreign Affairs of great Britain, Boris Johnson rejected the demand of the group of the British Parliament to impose disciplinary sanctions on the Israeli Embassy in London, The Guardian reports.
The requirements were announced after the airing of the journalistic investigations of the TV company «al-Dzhazira» in which members of the Israeli Embassy Shay Mascot told about the plans to «dump» some British politicians, including Deputy foreign Minister Alan Duncan.
Johnson Mascot was called «an idiot who has no responsibilities.»
Johnson said that the incident is over, as the Embassy of Israel apologized and the Mascot it no longer works.
British foreign Minister also acknowledged the active participation of the UK in promoting anti-Israel resolutions of the UN security Council, explaining to him that «the growth of Israeli settlements by 20% since 2009 poses a serious threat to the peace process».
