The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine imposes ban on import of goods and services in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea – except for the transport of personal belongings of citizens and humanitarian assistance. The government decision comes into force within the next 30 days.

Yatsenyuk stressed in his speech that electricity supply in Crimea should be fixed by special decision of the Council of national security and defense of Ukraine.
«I want to start with the most important decisions – the decision to limit the supply of goods, works and services in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, which is Ukrainian territory, occupied by Russia, and, respectively, from the Crimea. In accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers prohibited the supply of works, goods and services in all customs regimes, from the Crimea to another territory of Ukraine and other territories of Ukraine in the Crimea, with the exception of personal belongings of socially important goods and humanitarian aid. With regard to the supply of electricity, they can only be exercised on the basis of the decision of the Council of national security and defense. The government will announce the decision, and it will enter into force 30 days», – quotes the edition Yatsenyuk’s speech.
Recall that in late November the government of Ukraine on the proposal of the head of government Arseny Yatsenyuk imposed a temporary ban on the movement of goods at the administrative border between Ukraine and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. At the same time the Cabinet began to develop a specific list of goods, works and services that can be supplied to Crimea.
Previously with the proposal to suspend cargo service to Crimea, both by road and rail, were made by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, who proposed to establish a working group on this issue. He argued that in recent times have dramatically escalated the confrontation between public activists and occupying authorities of Crimea initiated a number of criminal cases initiated against the trade embargo of the Crimea.
