According to the website of the Hürriyet, a car bomb exploded next to a convoy of buses carrying military personnel.
The attack occurred at the moment when at the presidential Palace Erdogan had a meeting with representatives of the security forces.
According to the Ministry of internal Affairs of Turkey, the attack in Ankara killed at least 28 people, more than 60 were injured. Doctors do not exclude that the death toll could rise.
International agencies and local media reported that most of the victims and injured members of the armed forces of Turkey, including officers. However, in the area of the explosion were civilians.
The wounded were taken to 14 hospitals in the Turkish capital.
