Tournament of judoists in Belgrade: Artem Arshansky and Rotem Shor won the gold medal

In the Belgrade tournament of the European Judo Open. Israeli judokas won two gold and one bronze medals.

Artem Arshansky became the champion in weight category to 60 kg.

In the preliminary round he defeated Frenchman Maxim Merlin and the Israeli Alon Rahima (ranked fifth). In the semi-finals Artem defeated the Azerbaijani Rufat Mammadov, in the final — Frenchman Richard Vernier.

Rotem Shor (weight category up to 63 kg) won the gold medal by defeating the Czech Michaela Kulikov, Italian Christina Piccin, Israeli Inbal Shemesh and Briton Lucy Renshall.

Inbal Shemesh, losing in the semi-final, took fifth place.

The bronze medal was won by Maan Greenberg (weight category up to 57 kg). In the preliminary round, she defeated the Slovenian Tasu, Bremen and French Laurie Posuit.

In the semifinals, the Israelite lost to the British Aselia Toprak. In the bronze medal match, she defeated the Hungarian Ibeju Siroki.
