The streets of the city of Tonsberg, in the South of Norway, started patrolling members of the far-right nationalist movement called «the Soldiers of Odin», already operating in Germany, Finland and Estonia, which declared its mission to protect the local population from Muslim refugees.
About it reports on Monday, February 15, the newspaper The Local.
«Soldiers» dressed in a black jacket with the appropriate logo, check the documents of visitors, keep order and ready to protect Russians from aggression migrants from the Middle East and North Africa.
Movement «the Soldiers of Odin» for the first time announced its existence in the Finnish town of Kemi in October last year, when Finland was flooded with crowds of migrants. Recall that in 2015, the petition for asylum in this country filed 32.500 people living in Syria, Afghanistan and Somalia.
The founder of this movement, 29-year-old truck driver Mika ranta is certain: the new arrivals present a security risk for residents. He argues that Muslims cannot adapt to Western way of life, because Islam is a tough religion, and foresees many of the problems associated with refugees.
