Truce in Yemen will come 14 December, on the eve of peace talks, to be held in Switzerland, said the leader of Pro-Iranian rebels husitska Muhammad Abdul Salaam.
He stated this during a press conference in Sana’a, the Yemeni capital held by the rebels.
Negotiations between representatives of the legitimate President of Yemen Abd Rabo Mansour Hadi and the Houthis should begin on 15 December under the auspices of the UN.
Recall that the original legitimate government refused to dialogue with Shiite rebels, who only the intervention of the Arab coalition prevented to establish control over the entire territory of Yemen. The government representatives demanded that the Houthis lay down their arms.
However, as the advancing government troops has slowed after the initial success in Aden, Mansour Hadi softened its stance.
