The President of the United States Donald trump signed a bill, previously approved by the Congress, which introduced new sanctions against Russia, reports on Wednesday, August 2, the news Agency Bloomberg
The head of the White house accompanied this document special statement in which has expressed doubts about the effectiveness of the imposed measures, as well as on the constitutionality of some provisions of the law.
Trump believes that the bill encroaches on the powers of the President and could damage U.S. relations with allies.
This information also confirms the news Agency Reuters.
Recall that last Tuesday, U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson said in an interview with reporters: he personally, as well as the President of the United States, do not believe that new sanctions will benefit from diplomatic relations with Russia. Vice-President Mike Pence, for his part, noted that the bill testifies to the unity of the President and Congress.
