The President of the United States Donald trump believes that the ex-attorney General Sally Yates, who today will speak at the Senate hearings devoted to Russia’s intervention in the presidential campaign, was involved in the leak to the media of classified information.
On his page on the social network Twitter he did Monday, may 8, the following entry: «Ask Sally Yates, under oath if she knew how classified information got to the newspaper immediately after she gave an explanation of the legal adviser to the White house.»
The Senate initiated an investigation into Russian intervention after the media reported about the contacts of the trump adviser Michael Flynn with the Russian Ambassador to the USA Sergey Kislyak. It was assumed that during the talks they discussed the question of cancellation of sanctions by Washington against Russia, reminds the website NEWSru.com.
Yates summoned to the Senate in connection with her statement stating that she had informed the administration trump of Flynn’s contacts with a Russian diplomat, while he himself preferred not to spread.
Trump had previously called in to investigate relations with Russia former Secretary of state Hillary Clinton, his rival in the presidential race, and that, in turn, accused of losing the election by Russian hackers and the FBI Director James Komi.
Last month, news Agency Reuters reported that the Russian Institute of strategic studies (RISS), controlled by Russian President Vladimir Putin has devised a plan which was to lead to the victory of Donald trump in the presidential election in the United States and undermine the confidence of Americans in the electoral system of the country.
