Tsunami in Greenland: washed away 11 houses, missing four

Four people are reported missing after the tsunami hit the West coast of Greenland. In addition, were swept away 11 houses located in the coastal village of Nyugatnak the municipality of Qaasuitsup, where they had been evacuated 39 people.

About it reports on Sunday, June 18, local television station KNR, citing the police.

The authorities believe that the tsunami was caused by earthquake of magnitude 4 on the Richter scale. Also affected the island of Uummannaq, located within the Arctic circle.
