Ukraine sent to the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia a note of protest in connection with a trip to the Crimea delegation headed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
«The Ukrainian side considers the visit (24 June) and other so-called travel of Russian officials in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol a grave violation of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine», – TASS quoted a statement issued by the press service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
In Kiev believe that the trip of the Russian delegation in the Crimea had to be agreed with the Ukrainian side.
«The foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation sent a note of protest», – stated the Ukrainian foreign Ministry.
On Saturday, June 24, Vladimir Putin and Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, presidential adviser Andrei Fursenko and leaders of the Republic of Crimea visited the international children’s center «Artek», located not far from Yalta.
