Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE and Bahrain presented the government of Qatar an ultimatum, demanding that within 10 days to comply with 13 requirements, a list of which was handed to acting as intermediary with the representative of Kuwait, according to Saudi television station «al Arabiya».
Among the requirements – the severance of diplomatic relations with Iran, closing of the TV company «al-Jazeera», the closure of Turkish military bases on the territory of Qatar and the expulsion of Turkish soldiers, the rupture of relations with terrorist organizations, including ISIS, al-Qaida, «Muslim brotherhood» and Hizbullah, the cessation of funding for all organizations on the terrorist list of the United States.
Also in the ultimatum appears the requirement of payment of a fine and compensation.
Among other demands the rejection of granting Qatari citizenship a citizen of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE and Bahrain, the results of the individuals on the «terrorist list».
What, besides the continuation of the economic blockade, threatens Qatar’s refusal to comply with the ultimatum, not reported.
We will remind that on June 5, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Egypt have accused the government of Qatar in support of international terrorism and interference in the internal Affairs of countries in the region. It was announced the cessation of air and sea links with Qatar, the introduction of sanctions against the state companies and the severance of diplomatic relations. To boycott Qatar joined in Mauritius, the Maldives and Mauritania, Jordan and Djibouti reduced the level of its diplomatic missions in Doha. Kuwait and Oman refrained from drastic steps, announcing a policy of neutrality in this matter. The special position occupied Iraq: authorities have accused Doha of trying to divide the Iraqi people, but soon stated that they would pursue a policy of non-interference in the Qatari crisis.
