In Moscow, the Central exhibition hall «Manege», from June 6 to 12, an exhibition of the art project, Israeli sculptor and painter Sasha Galitsky «Past progressive». The project works made in the technique of carving the inhabitants of the Israeli hostels for the elderly.

Galitsky told editors NEWSru.co.il that in this exhibition, first presented dozens of «van Gogov» carved wards of the artist – at the age from 70 to 100 years.
According to Galitsky, the exhibition is so close to the Kremlin, that «if Lenin had risen, he could get to us walking».
The exhibition also features portraits of the participants of the project with drawings and accompanying stories of Sasha Galitsky and excerpts from the documentary film about ina Lesja’s Galitsky and his old «Velvet season».
Sasha Galitsky says that the greatest pleasure from the show are getting older visitors: «t smile, I can’t believe I’m on the screen, and at the exhibition. I joke that I’m not me and my brother. Very happy».
Galitsky also made at the exhibition with a lecture on «Old children of the young state». It’s a lecture about the generation that lost their parents during the Holocaust. These people, according to Galitsky, play their games, because it is not played in them before. And the country, as far as possible, trying to help them.
Sasha Galitsky wrote a book, which will be called «Mom, do not cry!» and consist of written Galician stories of his elderly, as well as useful tips on how to build relationships with «very older» parents.
In the book of Galician will be the answers to why the elderly save money, how to deal with patients with Alzheimer’s disease, as not to be annoyed, why you should never feel guilt, how to talk about death, and many useful tips. Galitsky opened in the Facebook community called «Mom, what are you talking about?» where offers members to share their experiences and ask questions.
