Vladimir Putin held talks with Iranian defense Minister Hussein Dekhana, who is in Russia on two-day working visit. This was reported TASS, citing the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov. Thus a press-the Secretary did not disclose details of the meeting. There is no mention about it on the official website of the Kremlin.

Hussein Dehghan during the visit, gave an interview to TV channel «Russia 24», in which he said that Iran will never develop nuclear weapons and is not going to do in the future. He also noted that «all ballistic missiles, Iran have only a defensive role».
Dehgan in an interview to «Russia 24» said that Iran intends to buy from Russia only defensive armament. According to him, the main goal of Iran is to increase its own defense, which will lead to stability in the region.
