Legal Advisor to the government Yehuda Weinstein intends on 20 December to meet with representatives of the police and discuss the statements of the women who accused interior Minister Silvan Shalom for sexual harassment.
According to the radio station «Sieves Beth», Weinstein intends to instruct the police to take the women’s official statement. After that, legal counsel and police will hold another meeting to decide whether to start a criminal investigation.
We will remind, three women claim to have been victims of harassment by Silvan Shalom.
Note that in March 2014 former subordinate Silvan Shalom accused him of sexual harassment. However, in may legal adviser to the government has recommended closing the investigation because of the information concerning suspicions against the Minister, not confirmed, in other cases, the police or failed to find victims, or women refused to cooperate with the investigation.
