The white house reported that the President of the United States, Donald trump intends to endorse a bill toughening sanctions on Russia and limiting its powers in relation to these measures.
About it writes on Sunday, July 23, the newspaper the New York Post, citing a statement by the newly appointed press Secretary of the White house on Sarah Huckaby Sanders, made in an interview with the program This Week ABC News.
«The administration supports a tough stance against Russia, and, in particular, as regards the imposition of these sanctions. The draft law was written badly, but we White house in cooperation with the Senate modified it and made the necessary changes,» – leads edition of the words of Sanders.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that representatives of both parties in Congress came to an agreement about the bill that allows to impose new sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea. The bill will also severely curtail the ability of the President of the United States Donald trump to remove anti-Russian sanctions.
Under this bill, trump will be forced to submit to the Congress any initiative designed to «significantly change» the U.S. policy towards Russia. We are talking in particular about the weakening of the sanctions or the return of confiscated real estate of the Russian diplomats in the States of new York and Maryland.
We will remind, recently Russian Deputy foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, after a meeting in Washington with US Deputy Secretary of state for political Affairs Thomas Shannon stated that the conflict between Moscow and Washington on the two seized in US-Russian diplomatic territories close to resolution.
