According to radio station «Sieves Beth» with reference to Palestinian media reports, the Chairman of the Palestinian national authority Mahmoud Abbas withdrew a former member of the Fatah leadership of Yasser Abd Rabbo from his post as Director of the Center for Palestinian culture named after Mahmoud Darwish.
With him were dismissed from their posts 20 Board members located in the center of Ramallah. The only one who retained his post, was the brother of the Palestinian national poet.
Recall that at the end of June 2015 Abd Rabbo was released from the post of Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization. His successor was the former head of the Palestinian delegation at negotiations with Israel Saeb Erekat.
It was alleged that the reason for the resignation of Yasser Abd Rabbo began its relationship with the former head of Fatah in Gaza, Mahmoud Dahlan. Dahlan, who was considered the main rival of Abbas, was expelled from the ranks of Fatah and was sentenced in absentia to two years in prison.
